Can I place an order to be shipped outside the United States?
We do not ship outside the United States due to the perishable nature of our chocolates.
Can I place an order to be shipped to warm-weather parts of the country?
Yes! We monitor the weather and suggest expedited shipping services when necessary to ensure the safe delivery of our chocolates.
What does it mean when "warm weather shipping" is in effect?
We monitor the weather and offer only expedited shipping services to ALL warm-weather destinations. We want to be sure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition. When the weather gets too warm, our shipping department takes extra care to make sure each chocolate arrives to your doorstep in perfect condition: cool and intact (no one likes melted chocolate). This means we may require expedited shipping or take extra packing precautions, which may increase shipping prices temporarily. You will be notified during checkout of shipping speeds and prices available.
Warm weather shipping does not apply to CT, DE, MA, ME, PA, MD, NH, NJ, NY, RI, or VT.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box or an APO/PO Address?
No, at this time we do not provide shipments to APO/PO addresses.
Do you offer same-day shipping?
At this time, we do not offer same-day shipping.
Do you offer free shipping*?
We offer shipping specials seasonally. Free shipping offers are not available during Summer months and do our best to minimize shipping costs whenever possible.
What payment methods do you accept for online orders/curbside?
We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards, as well as payment via PayPal.
What is your return policy?
We want our customers to be completely satisfied with our delicious chocolate creations. We do our best to pack our chocolates to be delivered unmelted and ready to enjoy. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, contact us to help with return or replacements.

In-Store Pickup Locations
In-Store Pickup is back! We are offering in-store pickup in 13 of our stores. Shop our website as you would for a normal online order, then:
- Proceed to checkout,
- Enter in all of YOUR information, address etc.
- Once all of your information is in, your shipping options will appear.
- Chose In-Store Pickup and the store location nearest you.
- Proceed to the next page, and place your order.
- Once your order is placed the store will contact you within 24 hours when your order is ready.

CHOCOLATE CARE
Where should I store my chocolates?
We recommend storing your chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Water and heat are the enemies of your delicious treats-- chocolate will melt in the heat and form condensation in humid conditions. Keep your chocolates between 60-70 degrees fahrenheit. A kitchen cupboard is an ideal place. Or, honestly, don’t store them at all! Chocolate is at peak flavor while it is fresh.

How can I request a donation for a community event or fundraiser? All donation requests should be summited online at: https://gertrudehawkchocolates.com/donation-request.
Due to the high volume of requests received, telephone, email and mailed inquiries regarding the donation status are discouraged.

We offer Seasonal Brochures for Fall & Spring along with a great prize program to assist with growing your sales. We also offer a Chocolate Bar program year-round.
Do you require any money up front?
We do not require payment in advance.
What type of materials do you provide?
We offer FREE Sales Materials for all programs to help you achieve your fundraising goal.
How are orders packed?
All brochure orders are packed by individual seller for easy distribution.
What if something is wrong with the order?
All you have to do is report the problem within 3 business days of receipt and it will be taken care of for you.
